Billy C Merrell age 79, of Dade City, passed away Saturday, January 22nd, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.

Billy was born in Tampa Fl, on October 26, 1942, to parents Johnnie and Willie (Ruggs) Merrell who preceded him in death. Merrell was a veteran of the Navy and worked for the postal service before retiring.

Survivors include. his loving wife Lynn, sons, Shenan Merrell and Bobby Merrell; brothers, Johnnie Merrell, and Charles Merrell; two grandchildren, a stepson, Steven Brooks, a step-daughter, Michelle (Brooks) Faughnan, seven step-grandchildren, and six great step-grandchildren.

Billy was a member of the USS Vesole, DD/DDR 878 Association.

There will be a celebration of Billy's life at Cornerstone Community Church 8527 Old Lakeland Highway, in Zephyrhills Florida at 10 am followed by burial at Florida National Cemetery at 2:30 pm.
