Billie Jo Kirby (Harris), 52, passed away on December 19, 2025, in Dade City, Florida. Born on November 3, 1973, in Lakeland, Florida, she spent most of her life in Dade City, where she was raised and educated. A proud graduate of Pasco Comprehensive High School in the Class of 1990, Billie Jo pursued some college studies and went on to build a dedicated career with Publix Super Markets. For 32 years, she worked as a scan price coordinator, earning the respect of her colleagues through her commitment and reliability. She retired in March 2023 due to illness.

Billie Jo was known for her generous spirit and unwavering willingness to help others. She had a heart full of compassion and was always ready to lend a hand or offer support to those in need. Her kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She loved to travel and cherished the adventures she was able to experience. One of her most memorable trips was a journey to New York and Pennsylvania with her dear friend Jennifer Clements and Jennifer's husband Neil. Together they explored many sights, creating joyful memories that brought Billie Jo great happiness.

Raised in the Baptist faith, Billie Jo carried her belief in God throughout her life. Her faith provided strength during difficult times and guided her compassionate nature. She is lovingly remembered by her brother Tom Harris and his wife Jutamas Harris, as well as her niece Emma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Billie R. Harris and Judy Harris (Dykas). Leaves behind her devoted husband, Dale T. Kirby, her son Zachary Kirby, her stepdaughter, Tiffany Kirby, and grandson, Grayson Burns.

Billie Jo's warmth, generosity, and enduring love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her memory bring comfort to those who mourn her passing and may she now rest peacefully, free from pain.

There will be a memorial service held for Billie Jo on February 5, 2026. The visitation will be held at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City, Florida from 5:30P.M. to 6:30P.M. and the service will begin at 6:30P.M.
