Beverly
Berlin
Sep 18, 1967 — Sep 27, 2026
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Beverly Marie Driskell Berlin, who left us on September 27, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 59 years old.
Beverly was born in Lakeland, Florida, on September 18, 1967 and graduated from Pasco High School in Dade City in 1985. She made Zephyrhills her home for many years, creating a life filled with family, friends, beloved animals, laughter, and the simple pleasures that meant the most to her.
Beverly worked as an Ophthalmology Technician at Watson Clinic, where she spent her career helping and caring for others. Outside of work, she had a gift for making her little house feel like home. She loved decorating, gardening, cooking, and entertaining. Beverly was known for her wicked sense of humor, wonderfully dry wit, loving spirit, loyalty, and the unmistakable way she could make the people closest to her feel loved.
Beverly's fur babies were a tremendous part of her life and her heart.
She could often be found beside her fire pit with Morgan Wallen playing in the background or sitting in her screened patio with her beloved outdoor cats, Mama, Leo, and Beau. Some of her happiest and most peaceful moments were spent curled up on the couch with her indoor cats, Gracie, Ozzie, and Batman, and her beloved dog, Ellie, watching her favorite shows or movies.
She enjoyed boating and fishing with her cousins or taking trips to the beach or the mountains with those she loved. Beverly treasured those adventures and the memories they created.
Beverly was preceded in death by her father, John Robert Driskell Sr., and her mother, Carolyn Clark Driskell. She is survived by her brother, John Robert Driskell Jr. (Ronda); her niece, Kaisy Cate (Wayne); her grandniece, Bella Weems; her nephews, Peyton Olander, John Robert Driskell III, and Ryan Nurse; her cousins, Cindy Delbene (Danny) and Teresa Waters (George); extended family; her loving work family at Watson Clinic; as well as many cherished friends whose lives were made richer simply by knowing her.
Beverly's passing leaves an emptiness that words cannot adequately describe. Her life was far too short, but it was filled with love, laughter, friendship, and memories that will continue long after her passing. She was deeply loved, and she will be profoundly missed.
A Celebration of Life honoring Beverly will be held on October 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home in Dade City, Florida. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate a life that meant so much to so many.
