Betty Jewel Smith, 84, of Wesley Chapel, FL, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 24, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.Betty was born to Julia Inez and Norman Jason Christiansen on March 12, 1937, in Beloit, Wisconsin. She moved to Florida with her husband in 1964 and her sister Darlene Kizer followed shortly after. Before retiring, Betty worked at Western Drilling with her husband Buck and her brother-in-law, George for many years as a secretary.She was predeceased by her parents, husband Adrian Lyle Smith (Buck), stepson Jack Smith, and brother-in-law George Jr Kizer.She is survived by her 3 sisters, Norma Jean Peterson, her 6 children, and grandchildren (Special thanks to Betty grand-niece Kaitlyn Peterson for all her help). Wanda Jean Christiansen, her 4 girls, and grandchildren. Darlene Jean Kizer, her children George Jason Kizer (Sonny), Tina Inez Hancock, her husband Christian Hancock and their children, Nicholas Jason Schneider, Julia Inez Kizer, her husband Bryan Williams and children Raycin Kyler, Rydin Williams, and Revin Williams. Who all grew up next door to Bettys home in Wesley Chapel. 2 stepsons Paul Smith and his children Scott Smith, Anthony Smith, and Jenny Smith. Danny Smith, his daughter Patricia Bianco, her husband Matt Bianco, and their 3 children.

There will be a graveside service at 9 AM Friday, July 30, 2021, at Chapel Hill Gardens, Dade City, FL 33525.
