Betty R Reedy, 83, of Zephyrhills Florida passed away November 8th in the care of Gulfside Hospice of Zephyrhills surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 12, 1932 in Sigel, Pennsylvania and retired with her husband James Reedy to Zephyrhills Florida in 1984. He has been waiting for her in the gates of heaven since October 2000 along with their son David as well as many other loving family members including 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Betty raised 7 children in Jamestown New York with her loving husband James and watched their family grow together as a beautiful tribute of their love. She loved to bowl, fish, hunt, garden, play cards and was the strength of the family for so may years. Survived by: Roseann Olejniczak and husband Wayne- Jamestown North Carolina-, Sharon Reedy- Dunkirk New York, James Reedy Jr and wife Susie - Lowell North Carolina, Debbie Brunato and husband Patrick -Zephyrhills Florida , William Reedy and wife Judy- Zephyrhills Florida, Jeffrey Reedy and wife Jean -Zephyrhills Florida who lovingly took care of her for many years of illness. Grandchildren: Jamie, Stacy, Kristie, Jennifer, Kim, Trisha, Michelle, Ashley, Josh, Amy Great grandchildren 15 plus, what a wonderful continuation of life and legacy she has created. Her strength is an inspiration to all and she will be sadly missed. A celebration of her life and family will be received Wednesday November 11th from 6 pm to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday the 12th at 1pm. The family would like to thank all of the friends and family that have given us so much support and well wishes as well as the wonderful medical staff that held our hands and helped us through this difficult time and treated her like the queen that she is. Special thanks to Hospice for the love and respect that the gave to the family and the care they provided for her. We celebrate her life, wipe each other tears, hold strong as a family as the Lord leads us through this time. We rejoice for her reunion with her loving husband and God. She is home. Visitation
