Betty Jo (Castle) Farish, Dade City, FL was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at her home. She was born December 10, 1940 in Nippa, KY, the daughter of the late Willie and Clista Castle. Betty was a member of Darby Community Church for several years. She enjoyed reading her Bible, talking on the phone, drinking coffee and Pepsi. She is survived by her son John E. Farish Jr. Dade City, FL, 4 daughters, Valerie Link of Floral City, FL, Veronica Shear of Urbana, OH, Joanie Yates of Springfield, OH, and Kimberlee (Justin) Bush of Dade City, FL. Grandchildren Allen, Chelsea, Clista, Rebecah, Sidnee, Culton, Kori, Kodie, Gaige, Mason, Princess, Hope, Lucas, Kimber, Victoria, Mikala, Dale, nine Great-Grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband John E. Farish Sr., daughter Victoria (Farish) Ferguson, brother Ray Castle, sisters Della Daniels and Peggy King. Gathering of friends to celebrate her life will be held Monday 6-8 p.m. at Hodges Family Funeral Home on 301; Funeral services will be held at the same location Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Tom Craine officiating. Donations may be sent in her memory to Hernando-Pasco Hospice.
