Obituary

Betty Lou Clark, 83, passed away on December 12th, 2025, in Zephyrhills, Florida. Betty was born on October 26th, 1942, in Pulaski, Tennessee, to her parents James and Mildred McCluskey, being the oldest of four children.

In 1961, Betty made her way down to sunny Sarasota, Florida to marry her first husband, Roy Rogers. Together, the two had five beautiful children. The couple divorced in 1975, and later that year, Betty would marry the love of her life, Samuel Philip Clark, and they raised Betty's children together. The family relocated to Tampa, Florida. Betty worked part-time jobs but was still a full-time mother.

When her children were grown, she began her career in collections at the Tampa Tribune. Living in Florida inspired her to take up gardening, which became her passion. She absolutely loved to sit outside and listen to the birds chirp and sing.

Betty Lou Clark is predeceased by her parents, James and Mildred McCluskey; sisters, Linda F. Duncan and Elaine McCall; and brother, Bill Tyler; as well as both of her husbands.

She is survived by her five daughters, Belinda Diane Calliham, Delinda (Allen) Brooks, Melinda (Scott) Townsend, Lisa Parsons, and Betty Reeber Dennis; granddaughters Sara Ann (John) Addington, and Chloe Grace Epley; grandsons Brian Andrew Calliham, Matthew Brooks, Dwayne Westmoreland, Jonathan Westmoreland, and Joshua (Kendra) Westmoreland; great-grandchildren Abigail, Justyce, Cecillia, Athena, JaKari, and Azalea; nieces Leann Stewart Drawdy and Ginger Harper; and nephew Joseph M. Call.
