Betty Doris Boyett, 94, of Clay Sink, Florida, passed away on July 11, 2026, in Clay Sink.

Born on August 16, 1931, in Lacoochee, Florida, Betty was the daughter of Eddie and Reba Breeden. She grew up alongside her three brothers, Tommy, Larry, and Gary Breeden, and carried the values of faith, family, and hard work throughout her life.

On December 9th, 1950, Betty married the love of her life, Everett Boyett, at First Baptist Church in Lacoochee, Florida. Together they built a loving home and shared many happy years until Everett’s passing on April 10, 2018.

Betty attended Pasco High School and, in her younger years, worked at the Cummer sawmill before dedicating herself to raising her family. She was a devoted Christian woman who accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age, and her faith remained the foundation of her life. She loved attending church, preparing occ Franklin Graham shoe boxes, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Steven Boyett (Lorretta), Tim Boyett (Nora), Susan Davis, Lacy Crouse, and Jamie Mahoney. Grandchildren, Amy Boyett, Hannah Boyett, Dustin Boyett, Jason Boyett, Holly Boyett Boyd, Aaron Evans, Zach Evans, and Jared Dobson. She also leaves behind 16 cherished great grandchildren, and 4 great, great-grandchildren, along with many other loving family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Everett Boyett, and her daughter, Pamela Boyett Dobson, who passed away on October 6, 2025.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Clay Sink Baptist Church in the fellowship hall. Arrangements are under the care of Hodges Family Funeral Home.

Betty will be remembered as a wonderful Christian woman whose unwavering faith, kind heart, and love for her family touched everyone who knew her.
