Bettie Ann Murphy (Worrell) passed away in Zephyrhills, Florida surrounded by family on the morning of Sunday, August 16, 2026 at 77 years old.

 Bettie was born in Dade City, Florida to parents Christine Adams and Ralph Worrell on March 4, 1949. She had four siblings: Judy, Junior, Jimmy, and Johnny. She stayed local to the area, marrying her husband Billy Murphy in her hometown of Dade City on September 17, 1965. Together, they welcomed four children: Randy, Travis, Kimberly, and David. 

Bettie can be best remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family will forever be cherished.

 Bettie is survived by her husband of 60 years, Billy Murphy, and her four children: Randy Murphy (Candy), Travis Murphy (Terri Gude), Kimberly McClurg (Michael), and David Murphy (Sasha). She is also lovingly remembered as a grandmother to John Eric, Erica, William, Ryan, Lane, Ian, Ethan, and Madison. Bettie is survived by her siblings: Judy Karppe and Junior Worrell as well.

Bettie is predeceased by her grandson, Jeffrey Murphy, and two of her siblings: Jimmy Adams and Johnny Worrell. 

Bettie has left an everlasting impression upon all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
