Bessie Barbara Wright age 87, of Dade City, Florida passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022. Bessie was born in Bowling Green, Florida to late J. H. Baucom and Edna Baucom. She lived most of her life in Hardee County Florida until she moved to the Zephyrhills/Dade City area in 2017. Bessie had numerous jobs, her last job being in custodial services for Hardee County Public Works. Bessie is preceded in death by her first husband Paul R. Smith, second husband William W. Wright, 21 brothers and sisters, son in-law Wendell Stewart and grandson Steve McIntire.

She is survived by a sister, Lessie Sager of Register Georgia, son Robert P. Smith and wife Gina Smith of Bowling Green, Florida, Patricia D. McKee of Lyons, Georgia, Donna C. Stewart of Bowling Green, Florida, Karen L. Wells and husband Steve Wells of Dade City, Florida, 13 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Grave side services will be held at the Wauchula Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 5, 2022. Arrangements by Hodges Family Funeral Home 11441 Hwy. 301 Dade City, FL.
