Obituary

Aunt Bea passed away August 7,2016 at Gulfside Regional Hospice in Zephyrhills. She was born in Buffalo, New York on November 17, 1941. She joined the Army at the age of 20 and served active duty as a SFC from 1961 to 1964. She was a proud Army Veteran who worked in the U.S. Army Reserves as a secretary until she retired after 20 years of service. She was a member of the Eastern Star Crescent Chapter 54 and also a long time member of First United Methodist Church, Zephyrhills.She was preceded in death by her Parents Gertrude & Russell Schierer, brother Jack Austin, and sister Patricia Austin. She is survived by 5 Nieces, 9 Great Nieces, 4 Great Great Nieces , 1 Nephew, 6 Great Nephews, 7 Great Great Nephews. Also her Dear friend Vivian Acker Of Zephyrhills. Visitation will be Thursday August 11th from 5:00 7:00, with a service following at 7:00, at Hodges Family Funeral Home's highway 301 chapel in Dade City. Military honors and committal will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell on August 12th at 11:30 am Visitation
