Bart Natale Quirinale

December 19, 1933 – January 20, 2025

Bart Natale Quirinale, a dedicated physician, loving family man, and passionate horse racing enthusiast, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025. Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Bart led a life marked by service, education, and care for others.

Bart was predeceased by his parents, Rosaria Billeci and Bartolo Quirinale, and his sisters, Josephine and Annette. He was also predeceased by his first wife, Virginia Quirinale, and his second wife, Mary Ann.

He is survived by his children, Amy Calderone, Bart Quirinale, and John Quirinale, his stepson, Jessie Pellatier, his former third wife, Elizabeth Hartley, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Bart's journey began in Lawrence, where he graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1950. He served in the National Guard and then later in the Air Force from 1951 to 1955, including a year in Korea. After his military service, Bart pursued higher education, earning a degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in 1959 and a medical degree from Tufts Medical School in 1963.

Bart's medical career spanned several decades, during which he practiced family medicine in Andover, Massachusetts, and later in Salem, New Hampshire. He was known for delivering babies, performing minor operations, and providing general medical care to his community. Bart was a mentor to many aspiring medical professionals, sharing his knowledge and passion for medicine.

Outside of his professional life, Bart had a deep love for racing thoroughbred horses and gardening. He cherished the friendships he formed with his New Hampshire neighbors, Meredith, Mackenzie, Sherry, and John Farrell.

Bart will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at the Florida National Cemetery for veterans, honoring his service to his country.

Bart's legacy of compassion, dedication, and love will be remembered by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the countless lives he touched throughout his remarkable life.
