Barry Purkis, 80, of Dade City passed away October 7, 2023 at his home. He was born September 22, 1943 in Brampton Ontario Canada to Alwyn and Jean Purkis. After graduating high school he joined the United States Army. Barry attained several college degrees from Rollins College in Orlando. For several years Barry was self-employed as an Electonic Technician before finding his passion in the family business as a Beekeeper. After retirement Barry loved listening to music and watching movies at home. Survivors include many nieces; nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
