Barbara Sheppard of Seminole passed away on June 12, 2024 in Dade City. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, and friend. Barbara was born and raised in West Paterson, NJ. There, she married and had three daughters. The family moved from NJ to Seminole, FL in 1973 where she raised her girls. After retiring from the Largo Police Department, she volunteered with SPCA of Tampa Bay for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children: Cathy (John), Barb (Ron), Dee (Zoe); grandchildren: Lauren, Kyle (Nils), Alex and Zach; and two great-grandchildren. Barbara was a voracious reader, often reading 2 3 books per week. She loved animals, nature, and flowers. Later in life, she discovered her artistic side. Barbara enjoyed the little things in life like spending time with family and dinner with friends. She will be dearly missed.
