MESSER, Barbara Jean, age 94, passed away at Heritage Park Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dade City, FL on February 26, 2019. Barbara was born in Hazard, KY on June 26, 1924 to parents George Harry Gilford & Lela Carrie (Martin).Along with her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Messer, and one son, Ronnie Messer. She is survived by three children: Rickey Messer, Raye Messer, and Dana Krick; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other friends and loved ones.A visitation will be held from 1-2pm on Friday, March 1, 2019 at the Hodges Family Funeral Home 5th Street Chapel. A funeral service officiated by Ken Littlefield will begin at 2pm. Burial will follow at Dade City Cemetery.
