Barbara Sheila Howard of Wesley Chapel, Fl passed away on the afternoon of Saturday December 12, 2020 at Advent Health, Zephyrhills. Born on November 29th, 1935 in the small town of Jay, Florida. Barbara was a cafeteria manager for the Hillsborough County public school system for over 30 years. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother to many. She is survived by her brother Billy Ray Hawsey, her seven loving children James Howard, Debra Sheffield, Peggy OConnor, Janiece Howard, Brenda Justice, Teresa Howard, Maurice Howard, 15 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, James Nathaniel Howard, and siblings Edna Faye Mann, Ruth Genevieve Ellis, Rex Hawsey and Mary Miller. Barbara was an avid member of the First Baptist Church of Wesley Chapel. She loved the Lord! She was a Busy Bee member at the church and really enjoyed cooking, crafting and helping to collect donations that all contributed to local schools, families and our troops overseas. Barbara was an amazing woman that was loved dearly by her family and everyone that was blessed enough to have met her. She will be greatly missed but forever in our hearts.

Services will be Tuesday, January 19th, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Wesley Chapel. 29716 FL-54, Wesley Chapel, FL 33543. Visitation will be from 10-11 with services will beginning at 11am.

Interment of ashes will take place following the services at Florida National Cemetery at 2pm. At this time, she will be placed in the Columbarium wall with her late husband James Nathaniel Howard.
