Barbara Anne (Coutts) Hall joined her true love, husband Paul, and her beloved son Michael in Heaven on September 14, 2022. Barb, as she was known by most, was born in La Salle, Illinois on December 8, 1929, the daughter of Frances (Frank) and Ethel Coutts and older sister of William (Bill). Barb was active in high school musical theater, student government, and band. She graduated from La Salle Peru Junior College and worked in banking in her hometown of Oglesby, IL. While on vacation at a Dude Ranch with her best girlfriends she met the love of her life- Paul Hall- who was on leave from the Air Force. After just a few meetings over the course of 6 months, they were married on August 1, 1954. Julie, Michael, and David arrived over the next 7 years. The family moved to Florida where Paul spent the next 40 years working for Honeywell and Barb worked as a church secretary "running" Faith United Church of Christ for 25 years. Barb was also active with Scouting, sports, PTA, and other church and family groups. Barb and Paul enjoyed many wonderful vacations home and abroad, owned a vacation home in North Carolina, and eventually retired to Dade City Florida.Barb was always known for her quick wit, beautiful smile and dimples, and infectious laugh. Her favorite color was yellow which exemplifies her bright sunshiny personality. Barb was always quick to make friends who will remember her fondly for years to come.Barb was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul, and her son Mike. She is survived by her brother Bill, daughter Julie Williams (Bruce), son David (Rob), granddaughter Megan Dorey (Nick), grandson Matt, great-granddaughters Kayleigh and Ainsley, grandson Brayden as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of loving friends.A Celebration of Life will be held at the historic chapel at First United Methodist Church of Oviedo, 263 King Street, Oviedo Fl at 1200 on October 22, 2022, with a reception to follow. Please wear something yellow to honor her.In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to one of the following charities: First United Methodist Church of Oviedo, Orlando Union Rescue Mission, Second Harvest Food Bank, or the Arnold Palmer Medical Center Foundation.
