Barbara Lynn Carter was born in Niles, MI on February 22, 1951 and spent most of her life in Cassopolis, MI. She graduated from Cassopolis High School in 1970. She has been a resident of Zephyrhills, FL since 2007. She entered a sanctuary of peace and rest on July 5, 2020. Her health problems remain with her Earthly body, while her Heavenly body remains whole. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Jane Gohn. She is survived by her husband Michael Carter, her son Martin (Kelli) Parrish, and two grandsons, Adam and Collin Parrish. She also leaves behind a sister, Nancy (Doug) Wiseman, and a brother, Jim (Pam) Gohn. She is also survived by three stepdaughters, Michelle (Kurt) Sanders, Melissa (Corey) Wright, and Sarah (Dane) Smith, and several grandchildren from her second marriage.
