Arnett, Barbara Ann, 76, of New Port Richey, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020. Barbara was born in Peoria, Illinois to Robert and Elizabeth Arnett on July 15, 1944. Barbara worked tirelessly as a Psychiatric RN for over 40 years, most of it in Tampa Bay at St. Joseph's Hospital and St. Anthony's Hospital. She was well respected by her co-workers and patients alike. Barbara loved friends, music, fast cars, cats, painting, poetry, and writing. Due to Alzheimer disease, Barb spend her last three years at the Cottages in New Port Richey. The care she received there was the finest. The special staff went above and beyond in their caring of Barbara and she was happy there. She was predeceased by her parents, and her brother, Robert Arnett. Her sister-in-law, Susan Arnett resides in Arkansas. A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Donations to the Cottages would be appreciated.
