It is with heavy hearts that we announce beloved father, husband and friend, Baldemar Rojas, passed away on May 10, 2026, in Tampa, Florida.
He was born in La Gavia, Guanajuato, Mexico, to Ester (Malagon) Rojas and Roberto Rojas. He was preceded in death by his parents, his older brother Emilio, and his grandson Cristian.
He married his wife Olivia (Hernandez) Rojas, for over 53 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Olivia; his children Roberto, Baldemar Jr., Carlos; and his daughters Maria (niece), Edith, Sandy, and Nancy. He is also survived by his brothers Isidro and Leonel, and his sister Margarita.
Baldemar was a proud grandfather to 14 grandchildren: Gladys, Luis, Roberto Jr., Ashley, Lou, Leah, Michelle, Olivia, Adrian, Baldemar III, Angela, Elizabeth, Isreal, and Lainey, all of whom loved and cherished the time they spent with him.
Baldemar was a deeply beloved father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He was a strong and steady presence for many the rock of his family and a man of integrity who always meant what he said and kept his word. While he was much more than a father, to those who knew him best, that was his greatest role. He also served as a father figure to many others who looked to him for guidance and support.
He had a love for baseball and enjoyed watching the game, often cheering for any team that played against the Yankees.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
