A.W. Daughtery 77, of Kathleen, FL passed away Monday, March 12, 2018. He was born August 25, 1940 in Nashville, GA to Lonnie Franklin & Mary Smith Daughtery and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He moved to the Zephyrhills area as a child and remained a longtime area resident. He worked as a Warehouse Manager and was an avid gardener and fisherman. A.W. is survived by 3 daughters: Elaine (Darry) Jewell, Julie (Carey) Blanton, Kim (Clay) Madl; 4 siblings: Howard Daughtery, Lonnie Daughtery, Margaret DeYoung, Buck Daughtery; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years: Patricia "Trisha" Thomas Daughtery. Funeral Services will be held 11am Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the 54 Chapel of Hodges family Funeral home in Zephyrhills. The family will receive friends for viewing one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oakside Cemetery. Casual attire is requested (jeans and t-shirt), shoes are optional. Visitation
