Aurelia Burns 92, of Ridge Manor, FL passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 in Zephyrhills under the care of Gulfside Regional Hospice. She was born March 10, 1925 in Brooklyn, NY to Giovanni & Catherine Dell'Agnolo Facchin. She was proud to be the first American born in her family after her mother fled Italy and arrived thru Ellis Island, New York. She attended the Lexington School for the Deaf in New York City. Aurelia is survived by 4 children: Mary Burns Rogers and her husband Edward, Thomas Burns, Joanna Burns Hebert and her husband Harold, John Burns and his wife Frances; 6 grandchildren: Philip Burns IV and his wife Deanna, Darla Cornett and her husband Josh, Bobby Hebert and his wife Katherine, Adam Hebert, James Burns and his wife Ceja, Misty Peterson and her husband Jerry; 3 in-laws: Louisa Bisogno, Tom Bisogno, Madeline Facchin; 13 great grandchildren; 4 nieces and 2 nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Philip Burns Jr.; son: Philip Burns III; mother: Catherine Facchin; 2 brothers: Arduino Facchin, Joseph Facchin; and nephew: Glenn Bisogno. A memorial gathering will be held 1:30pm Sunday November 19, 2017 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Service
