Obituary

Audrey Lee Ogden was born on Dec. 18, 1947 and passed away unexpectedly in her home on Friday, February 21, 2020. She was born in Grayling Michigan and spent the first 18 years in Wolverine, Michigan, graduating valedictorian from her class and graduating from University of Michigan. She started her teaching career in Flint, Michigan area and had been a science teacher in Pasco County Florida for over 30 year, during which time she obtained a Masters Degree. Never being married or having children, she considered her students as her children. She was a dedicated volunteer and activist, involved in several organizations including, Master Garden Pasco Co., the local chamber of commerce, East Pasco Democratic Committee and founder of the Pasco Environmental Caucus, Retired Teachers Union as well as the local NAACP where she had just received the Presidents Award on Feb. 9.

Audrey is survived by her brothers, Charles and Curt (Debra) of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew Clinton. Her wishes were to not have a memorial service, but friends and family can share memories or condolences on the website by selecting the view/sign guestbook link.

Burial will take place a later date at Chapel Hills Gardens, Dade City, FL.
