Arthur “Ted” Cecil Tedford, age 82, passed away September 6, 2026, in Zephyrhills, Florida.

Born on October16,1943 in Orlando Florida. Arthur graduated from Melbourne High School. He then attended Georgia Tech University majoring in Civil and Mechanical Engineering. After graduating from Georgia Tech, Arthur received his master’s degree in business from another university.

He served in the U.S. Navy for six years on the USS REGLUSS and the USS ALBANY.

Arthur spent his civilian career as a Computer Engineer working for Unisys Corporation residing in Tennessee and California with his former wife Sandy. After retiring he moved back to Florida.

He was predeceased by his father Arthur C. Tedford, mother Gertrude Tedford, sister Patricia Tedford McGowan, and brother David Tedford.

Arthur is survived by sister Barbara Tedford DeNeve, Nephews and Nieces: Lauren DeNeve, Brian Bolton, Brooke Tedford Tefft, Heather Albright.

Arthur lived life on his own terms. Those who knew him will remember his individuality. He enjoyed hiking, golfing, boating, fishing, gardening and carpentry.

There will be no visitation or funeral service held. Instead, a private celebration of life will be held later.
