Antonio Russo, 74 of Land O Lakes, FL passed away at his home surrounded by loved ones on February 19, 2019. Born in Naples, Italy, he re-located and was a long-time resident of Syracuse, NY. After retiring from The City of Syracuse, he moved to Land O Lakes, FL. Antonio was an avid fan of Italian soccer (Forza Napoli), horse racing and never missed an episode of Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy. He enjoyed making homemade wine and Sunday dinners with his family.

Antonio was pre-deceased by his son Sandro, mother Anna (Sciancato), father Isacco, brother Jerry, niece Anna (Young) Russo and nephew Pietro Russo. Antonio is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Giuseppina (Raniero), son Pasquale (Dawn), son Massimo, daughter Anna (Greg) Falcone and daughter Jessica. He was very proud of his seven grandchildren Ryan, Antonio, Joseph, Adriana, Alessandro, Luca and Matthew. He is also survived by his siblings Carmine (Domenica), Raffaella (Sossio) Mazzarella, Fortunato, John, Antonietta (Nicola) Affinito and Mario (Jill) along with several nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 23rd at Hodges Family Funeral Home located at 36327 FL-54, Zephyrhills, FL 33541. Viewing will be from 2 to 4 pm, followed by a Catholic memorial service.
