D'Eramo, Antonietta, age 68, born in Ripi, Italy, passed away December 28, 2013. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 31 years, Frank. She is survived by her sister, Maria Pullo (Sergio), aunt & uncle Iolanda & Renato Guglielmi, niece Pia Pullo Sierra (Tim), nephew Robert Pullo (Jana), niece Jenny Gawel (Dan), great nephews Alex Sierra & Dominic Pullo. great niece Victoria Sierra, brother-in-law Mario D'Eramo (Diane), nephews Vincent (Laura) & Anthony D'Eramo, as well as many loved cousins and godchildren.Antonietta moved to America in 1961 and lived in Long Island, where she met her husband. She sponsored her sister and brother-in-law to come over from Italy in 1973 and they all moved to Zephyrhills in 1979 where they eventually opened Piccola Italia Restaurant. Here she was able to share her love of family, food and the Italian culture with all she met. Although Antonietta never had children of her own, she helped raise her sisters children and filled the role of mother for many. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, January 2nd at Hodges Funeral Home on State Road 54 West. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, January 3rd at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Zephyrhills with entombment to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Dade City. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zephyrhills or Krewe of Sant Yago Education Foundation.
