Antoinette "Toni" Allain, 93, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023, at Solaris Healthcare Lake Zephyrhills, Zephyrhills, FL. Toni was born December 6,1930 in Gary, IN., the daughter of Anthony "Tony" and Julia Galka Klimczyk. Originally from Gary, IN., Toni moved to St. Anne, IL., where she met and married Paul D. Allain. He preceded her in death on May 28, 2005 after 56 years. Upon retirement, Toni and Paul moved to Zephyrhills, FL. in 1987. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zephyrhills, FL. Toni is survived by her children, David (Linda) Allain of Republic, Mich., Harold (Christine) Allain of Zephyrhills, Fl., Mary Allain and husband (Mark Hansen) of Eagan, Minn., and Sharon Lundeen of Omaha, Neb.; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Dumais, and 3 brothers, Joseph Klimczyk, Walter Klimczyk, and Gerald Klimczyk, and a grandson Timothy Allain. She enjoyed cooking and baking. She sent banana bread to her sons in the military, and cookies and other baked goods to the local Fire department, the propane co. and neighbors. On many occasions she had as many as 20 or more over to her home in Florida to celebrate birthdays and holidays. Toni quickly made new friends wherever she went. She worked as a teachers aid at St. Anne Community High School before her retirement in Florida. Funeral Services for Toni Allain will be held Friday, December 22, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens in Dade City, adjacent to Hodges Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Friday at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 11441 Hwy 301, Dade City, 33525. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her memory to American Heart Association or St. Joseph's Youth Ministries, Zephyrhills.
