IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anthony Thomas
Viernes
May 14, 1992 – March 9, 2025
Anthony Thomas Viernes, affectionately known as "Ant" to his family and friends and "Tony" to his cousins was called home to be with the Lord on March 9th, 2025. He was born on May 14th, 1992, to the late Calvin Viernes and Tina Viernes. Anthony graduated from Zephyrhills High School and went on to attend College of the Desert in California to play JUCO Football. On this journey he met and made many lasting friendships with classmates and teammates and exceled as one of the top middle linebackers in Pasco County and state of Florida. Anthony was a loving son, father and friend to many. He lived his life through many different music genres in his ears. He loved his dogs, fishing, football and spending time with family and friends and most of all his two little girls. Most of the time away from his family he spent building an installation business, Double A Installations with his partner Allen Whitt. They built playgrounds across multiple states to bring joy to children and families for many years to come. Anthony was a proud, strong, hard-working, dog loving, big-hearted business owner, who put others before himself, helped anyone in need whether it was work related or just to lend an ear to a troubled friend. He strived to uplift people and loved to make you laugh and to bring a smile to everyone's face. He was preceded in death by his Father, Calvin Viernes (Bonnie); Grandparents; Henry Viernes, Steven Smith (Patricia) and Diana Murray. Anthony leaves to cherish his memories and legacy with his Mother; Tina Smith of Zephyrhills, FL, Children; Addilyn and Aubrey Viernes (Mary Bone) Zephyrhills, FL Sisters; Natasha Torres (Andrew) Evansville, IN Carley Viernes Omaha, NE Step-sister; Emily Fleming Omaha, NE Brother in-law; Sebastian Torres Evansville, IN Sister In-law; Raven Torres Evansville, IN Grandmother; Floretta Volkening (Bill) Kingsley, MI Aunts/Uncles; Charles Smith (Michelle) Kittshill, OH, Dennis Gutschke (Paula) Traverse City, MI Shawn Smith Aurora, CO, Cheryl Viernes Kingsley, MI, Cousins; Crystal Viernes, Spencer Gutschke, Cedric Gutschke, Kiara Gutschke, Alisha Ingram (Adam), Brian Smith, Kallie Odessa, Jayson Smith and a host of other sorrowing friends and family.
