Annie Louise Champion Pruitt 91, of Dade City, FL passed away Tuesday, March 31st, 2020 in Dade City surrounded by her family. She was born September 2, 1928 in Trilby, FL to Horace Lee & Mary Lou Flowers Fowler and was a lifelong area resident.
She was a bookkeeper for Pasco County for many years, but it was her faith in God and her love for her family that brought her peace and joy. She was a member of the Dade City Church of God for 50 years and more recently a member of Calvary Assembly of God. She graduated from Bible Training School in Sevierville, TN in 1946.
She is survived by her brother: Alvy "Bo" Fowler Sr.(Clara); 2 children: Nancy LaBine (David), Clyf Champion (Amy); her granddaughter: Iris Marie LaBine Sutton (Cavender): 1 son-in-law: Mike Burgess and a brother-in-law Melvin Stancil, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents: Horace L. & Mary Lou Fowler; spouses: Raymond Huffstutler, Dewey C. Champion Sr., David L. Pruitt; a daughter: Sharon M. Burgess; and 3 siblings & 2 in-laws: Horace L. "Buddy" Fowler (Myrtle), Mildred Jean "Miggie" Hamilton (Estelle) and Agnes Stancil.
Viewing will be at 10 am at the Graveside with the service following at 11 am Saturday, April 4th, 2020 at Chapel Hill Gardens in Dade City.
