COLLINS, Annie Lee Rome, 76, of Ridge Manor, FL, entered into eternal rest on July 13, 2022 in Tampa, FL. Annie was born on January 24, 1946 to parents, Willie Rome SR. and Maude Rome in Trenton, FL. Annie attended school in Chiefland, and graduated from Chiefland High School, she met the love of her life, Willie James Collins, and were married on March 13, 1961. Annie was a homemaker, and she cherished every minute of it by caring for her family, she enjoyed many hobbies, some of her favorites were fishing, cooking, and dancing, but her most loved hobby was the quality time she spent with her family, her greatest accomplishment was being the best wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she loved and cherished passing on so many family traditions. Annie is survived by her loving husband, Willie James Collins Sr., Children; Willie James Collins Jr., Catherine Collins, Alberta Singeton, and, Frankie Collins, Grandchildren; Robin Smith, Alexia Singleton, Markis Flanders, Frankie Collins, Tinika Rachel, and, Latrice Rachel, Great Grandchildren; Shamarie Smith, Scoteria Jones, Markis Flanders Jr., Chnace Collins, Xavian Collins, Meyah Collins, Devontae Singleton, Shenique, Malachi, Jacquavis, and, Alysia, Great Great Grandchildren; Jayliee Singleton, siblings; Irene Rome Jones, Johnnie Mae Rome, Anna Mae Watkins, Alzuer Rome Watkins, Mary Lee Parks, Gracie Rome Canley, Annie Rome Bowers, Emma Jean Rome, Willie Rome Sr., Charlie C. Rome, Buddy Rome, James Rome, Benny lee Rome, Freddie Lee Rome, and many friends from New Wave Church. Preceded in death by parents, Willie Rome Sr., and Maude Rome, grandparents, and her lifelong pet, Polly. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City at 1:00 pm with burial to follow at Floral Memory Gardens on Clinton Avenue in Dade City, FL.
