Anne Joseph 69, of Dade City, FL passed away Wednesday, December 11th, 2019. She was born August 28, 1950 in Bridgetown, Barbados. She lived in the New York City and the New Jersey, Willingboro areas and moved to Dade City in January of 2019.

Anne was a longtime employee of the Federal Government, starting as a cashier and working her way up to customer service manager at several commissaries in New Jersey and New York. She will be remembered by her work family as kind, generous, fair and fiercely loyal.

As a mother to six, she served this country as a military wife for 20 years. She was a true patriot and often quipped that she didn't move her children to this country not to see it all. She was a lover of all things from exotic foods to beautiful scenery, to all things lighthouses! If we had more time to process our loss, we could more succinctly sum up all things that Anne was; resilient, strong willed, smart, loving, tough, loyal, generous, warrior, beautiful, etc, etc.

Anne was involved in anything Catholic! Anything lighthouse! Anything her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons & daughters-in-law, friends of the family were in to, she took an avid interest in. She was supportive of everything and everyone in her ecosystem.Anne is survived by her husband: John Joseph; 6 children: Michael (Terry), Francis (Janine), Christine (Andre), Johnny (Roxann), Joanne (Julius), Elizabeth (Matthew); 20 grandchildren: Tyisha, Kamilah, Anthony, Craig, Koran, Isis, Jeanna, Nubia, Nevaeh, Precious, Jericho, Jared, Olivia, Jermani, Daniel, Sahara, Christelle, Aiden, John Michael, Nicholas; 4 great grandchildren: Ahmir, Rose, Ahlaura, Asiah; 5 siblings: Jacqueline, Verbina, John, Daniel and George.

Funeral Mass will be Celebrated 11am Friday, December 27th, 2019 at St. Rita Catholic Church, in Dade City. Interment will take place at a later date in Carriacou, Grenada.

In lieu of flowers, any donations can be sent to Hodges Family Funeral Home, we would be most grateful for donations made to Catholic Charities or Moffitt Cancer Center in her name.
