Obituary

Anne Marie was raised in Colombier, St. Barthelemy, a French-speaking island commonly known as St. Barts. Anne was fluent in both French and English.

Anne Marie was one of five children...4 boys and 1 girl. Her mother died when she was 5 years old. The children were raised by her father and grandmother. At approximately the age of 21, her family migrated to the island of St. Thomas, USVI in search of a better life and work opportunities.

Shortly after arriving in St. Thomas, Anne Marie met her husband, John Theodore Danet. They were married on November 19, 1959. Anne Marie and John had six children: Anne Marie, John, Jeanette, Albert, Paulette and Daniel.

Anne Marie was a Homemaker and a self-taught seamstress. She made clothes for her family and people in the community. She also made Carnival troupe costumes while living in St. Thomas.

In 1980, Anne Marie and her family moved to Dade City/Zephyrhills area in search of a better education for the children. Where she continued being a seamstress. She remained living there until she moved to Seminole County, FL for better Healthcare.

Anne Marie lived a full and involved life. She was a loving mom, grandma and great-grandma (meme). As a devoted Catholic, she said her prayers and the Rosary daily. She participated as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Rita Church. She was very devoted to her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing bingo. If she could play bingo every day, she would. She also enjoyed playing dominoes with her family.

A private Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
