Anna Pearl "Nanny" Welch, 82, was born to Reverand Robert Earl Richburg and Polly Ann Richburg on December 8th 1942 and passed away April 25th 2025. She was born, raised and passed away in Zephyrhills, FL. Anna married Robert Welch Sr. on August 9th 1958 and they had three children: Randolph Welch, Robert Welch Jr, and Polly Ann Murphy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Earl Welch Sr, her sisters Juanita Clark, Hazel Massey, Bessie Mae Beckton, her brother Edward Chaquet and her son Randolph "Randy" (Tammy) Welch. She is survived by her daughter Polly (David) Murphy, her son Robert (Gina) Welch Jr., grandchildren Randolph "Scott" (Brittany) Welch Jr, Robert (Mandy) Welch, Joshua Murphy, and Elizabeth Murphy and great grandchildren Landon, Aubree, Luke and Lacy Welch.

Anyone who knew Anna knew she loved her family with her entire heart and would do anything for them. She was fond of her gardens over the years that often sported her favorite color purple and brought plenty of butterflies of which she was an avid collector and admirer. She often enjoyed the gossip magazines and soap operas to help her pass her downtime when she wasn't on the phone talking with family and friends. On May 1st 2025 a viewing will be held at 10 am at Hodges Family Funeral home followed by the service at 11 am. A graveside service will be held at Geiger Cemetery in Zephyrhills, FL.
