Anna Marie Wetty (Remington)Stimson,95, of Dade City, Fl. passed away peacefully on May 5, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Howard D. Stimson; her father and mother, Leonard O. and Anna Marie (Wetty) Remington; two sisters Helen W. Reinert and Leonora L. Duckworth. Anna was born in Atlantic City, NJ, August 13, 1919 and her family later resided in Limerick, PA. She graduated from Pottstown HS. Anna is survived by her loving family, three children: Charles T. Stimson of West Chester, PA, Carol A. White of Royersford, PA and David H. Stimson of Clifton, KS, three grandchildren: Charles B. Stimson, Beth Ann Stimson and Joel W White, Jr. and 7 Great Grandchildren, Ekko, Desta, James, Katie, Abbie, Riley and Ella. Anna loved her family and many friends. She had many talents and interest and was always willing to try new things. In later years, they loved to travel with their Airstream Trailer all over the country and after retirement they moved to Travelers Rest Resort. She became interested in genealogy and worked for many years tracing her family tree. Anna participated in many activities in the park, including golf and dancing, but her favorite activity was Bocce Ball. She was very creative and loved to sew and do crafts. Anna was an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Masaryktown, FL. Anna lived life to the fullest and she will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
