Anna Kirkland passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, creativity, and quiet joy. She was a gentle soul who found beauty in the world around her and shared that beauty freely with others.

Born to Cicero and Helen Kirkland, Anna was raised with strong values that shaped the compassionate and loving person she became. She shared close bonds with her family, including her siblings Jack Kirkland, Raymond Kirkland, and Elizabeth Kirkland Holloway, and carried those connections with her throughout her life.

Anna was highly educated and deeply committed to the arts. She earned two master's degrees in art and devoted much of her professional life to teaching, inspiring students through her passion and creativity. In addition to teaching art at S.S. Sumter High, she also served as an Administrative Director, where her dedication and leadership were greatly valued.

Throughout her life, Anna made her home in several meaningful places, including Kirkland Ranch in San Antonio, Florida, and later Saddlebrook Resort in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Wherever she lived, she created spaces filled with warmth, beauty, and peace.

She found great joy in painting, gardening, and dancing, and she had a deep and abiding love for animals. Anna possessed a pure and gentle spirit, was extremely loving, and had a remarkable ability to see beauty and joy in all things. Those who knew her will remember her quiet grace, kind heart, and the light she brought into every room.

Ann was surrounded by love and friendship throughout her life. She is survived by her nephew, Richard Kirkland; niece, Elizabeth Denney; cherished friends: Alexis Rocker of Tampa, FL, Tom and Jane Holloway of Marietta, GA, and Cindy Holloway of St. Simon's Island, GA, whose companionship meant a great deal to her.
