Anna Mae Daugherty 80, of Dade City passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 in Zephyrhills. She was born November 22, 1937 in Havre DeGrace, Harford County, MD to James Alan & Alice Roberta Martin Smith and moved to this area 46 years ago from Pennsylvania. She worked for many years at the Royal Castle Restaurant in Dade City and then the Pasco County School Board before retirement. She worked for well over 20 years at the H & S Livestock Auction. Anna Mae is survived by 4 children: James Lee Smith (Patricia), Alice Butler (Ron), Ruth Rivera (Ruben), Charles Daugherty (Melissa); 5 stepdaughters, 1 stepson, 9 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; 1 sister: Helen Cage; 3 brothers: Willard, Marty and Lloyd Smith; plus many more extended family. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 4-7pm at the family home in Dade City. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gulfside Regional Hospice in her memory.
