Ann Marie Gildemeyer was the epitome of a life well lived. On July 16th, 1987, Ann Marie joined this world as a true miracle. After a hard fought battle against Melanoma, she left us all too soon on Friday, July 22nd, 2016. Ann Marie never met a stranger, and had a unique ability to make everyone she came in contact with feel like family. Throughout her illness she never lost this ability. Ann Marie's carefree outlook allowed her to truly make the most of every moment and live her life to the fullest. In 2006, Ann Marie graduated from Zephyrhills High School and left the familiarity of home to start her college career at the University of Alabama. While in Tuscaloosa, Ann Marie built and maintained close friendships. Ann Marie transferred to St Leo University, after moving back to Zephyrhills. Upon graduation from St. Leo University, with a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, she began a career at Wilson HCG as a recruiter, where she also touched many lives. Ann Marie was diagnosed with Stage IV Melanoma in December 2015. She fought a courageous battle, and was an inspiration to her doctors, nurses, and the staff at Moffitt Cancer Center, as well as her family and friends. Ann Marie was feisty, fiercely loyal and inordinately selfless. Ann Marie's magnetic personality brought friends and family together from near and far to surround her with love as she peacefully passed away. Ann Marie was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather John F. Johnson, and her father Robert G. Gildemeyer. Ann Marie leaves behind her mother Karen A.
