Crays, Sog Yon Chon "Ann" 89, passed away July 27,2024 in Titusville, Florida. She was born in Korea to father, Ki Up Chon and mother, Ko Pu Mun. Ann was predeceased by her husband, Robert O Crays in 2010. Ann and Bob owned and operated Crays Auto Body Shop in Tampa until they retired in 1998 in a home they built in San Antonio, FL. Ann was a survivor of the Korean War. Later she met and married Phillip L Coats Sr, a US Army Soldier and moved to the US in 1956. Ann led an adventurous life. She loved to go boating and scuba diving. She also had her own motorcycle and a candy apple red corvette. Ann loved music and in her later years she enjoyed ballroom dancing. Ann also made handsewn quilts and maintained a beautiful flower garden. Ann Crays is survived by her Daughter Catherine Musselman (Gary) of Cocoa FL, her two sons Phillip Coats II (Ann Marie) of Lakeland FL, Charles Coats (Susan) of Dade City FL, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, her sister Suk Joo Kang and her brother Hwang Gu Chon. Services will be held at the burial site at Garden of Memories, 33010 County Road 52, San Antonio, FL on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 1:00PM. Reception to be held afterwards.
