Maxwell, Anita F. , 78, of Dade City, FL, passed away on September 26, 2013. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Carl Maxwell. She is survived by her daughters Katherine Maxwell and Sheila Maxwell; son Stephen Maxwell; 4 grandchildren Anna, Eric, Daniel and Cory; 6 great-grandchildren Jeremiah, Ashlyn, Audrey, Stephen Carl, Caleb and Aria; brother Sherwood and a loving extended family. Anita was born in Norfolk, VA to Helen and John W. Fulcher, who both preceded her in death. She lived much of her life in Virginia, Florida and North Carolina and moved to Dade City, FL in 2005 from Ft. Pierce, FL. She was a bookkeeper for the National Biscuit Company, and later worked for the Alachua County courthouse. She volunteered her bookkeeping services to her church. She was an excellent homemaker and focused full time between her two jobs on her husband and raising her children. After her second job she spent her time with her husband as they enjoyed their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother and grand-mother who felt a deep and abiding love for her family. Her hobbies included ceramics, gardening and taking care of her dog, Ike, her Koi fish and canaries.She was a woman of faith with a sincere and strong belief in God.A commitment ceremony will take place at 9am on Monday, October 7, 2013, at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL where she will be laid to rest with her loving husband.
