Angelo Reno quietly passed on May 10, 2019 after a brief illness. Born in Louisiana. Son of George and Mary Reno. Survived by his wife Suzanne McCabe Reno. Son, David Reno and wife Pixie, stepdaughter Michelle (Alan) Jackson, granddaughters Andrea (Mike) Ardoin, Stacy (Wes) Ashford, Fallon and Alexis Halligan, and great granddaughters Emily and Jade Ashford. Angelo was a member of the Masons, Elks, and American Legion. He served proudly in the United States Airforce from 1948-1968. He and his wife shared a passion for music and enjoyed performing shows for local veterans, retirement homes, and private communities. They also never missed out on an opportunity to travel. In his spare time, he loved making his "Hillbilly" wine, fig cookies and beef jerky; however, the real joy came from sharing it with others. He never met a stranger. Preceded in death by his parents, 8 brothers and sisters, his daughter Vicki, and his first wife, Kay. Pallbearers Jimmy Reno, Alan Gutierrez, Alan Jackson, Mike Ardoin, Robert Gonzalez, Frank Perez, and George Loadholtz. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 12 noon at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 36327 State Rd. 54, Zephyrhills, FL 33541 with full military honors will be conducted on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Florida National Cemetery.
