Angelo Dilenge, (84), passed away on April 21st 2012 at the Zephyrhills Hospital due to heart failure. He is survived by his Brother, Pete Dilenge, Sister, Stella Diaeato, Niece, Lucy Friedman, Son, Dominic Dilenge, Daughters Mary Mion and Louise Dilenge. Angelo was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania on July 10th 1927, to parents Anna and Frank Dilenge. Both emigrated from Italy, Frank was from Naples and Anna from Cicely. Angelo volunteered for the Navy and was inducted on September 30th 1944 serving until his honorable discharge on June 17th 1946. Angelo served in the Pacific theater of the war on the Aircraft Carrier the Bunker Hill. Angelo and his late Wife Mary moved to Zephyrhills from New Jersey in the early 1970s first purchasing a home on Alston Avenue. Later they purchased property on Forbes road where they resided until retirement. Angelos last place of employment was Kmart in Zephyrhills, working in the Garden Department. Angelo will be missed by his family as well as the staff and residents of Westbrook Manor where he resided until his passing.A viewing will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. followed by a Service from 11:00A.M. To 12:00 P.M. on April 26th 2012 at Hodges Funeral Home located at 11441 U.S. Highway 301 in Dade City Florida. Angelo will be laid to rest next to his late wife Mary, at Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery.
