Alva Hutchison Brock, 89, beloved United Methodist minister in the Florida Conference and 10 year resident of Penney Farms Retirement Community, went to be with his Savior and best friend on January 3, 2016 at Orange Park Medical Center. He is survived by his wife Bunny (Edith Wittler) of 61 years, his twin brother Pete Brock, his sisters Mary Nancy Terwilliger & Betty Jo Lossing, his son and daughter-in -law Tim and Melody Brock, daughter and son-in-law, Betsy & Guy Ward, and 8 grandchildren. A WWII Navy Veteran, graduate of University of Florida & Garrett Seminary (Chicago), he was a leader in Victorious Ministries through Christ International (inner healing). He was an incredible man of God, devoted husband and faithful father. A memorial service to celebrate his life and ministry will be held 2pm Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at the Penney Memorial Church at Penney Farms.
