BLEVINS, Allene Asher, 93, passed away quietly on December 23, 2020 at AdventHealth Hospital, Zephyrhills, Fl. Allene was born in White Star, KY. March 15, 1927. She is preceded in death by her husband Wilmer Blevins, son Charles "David" Blevins and parents Robert and Mary Noe Asher.

She is survived by her sons Roger D. Blevins and Timothy Blevins, sister Emma Asher Pfeifer, brothers-in-law Robert and George Blevins, sister-in-law Shelia Blevins, daughter-in-law Beth Blevins, eight grandchildren, eight great grand children, nieces Betty, Marsha and many other nieces and nephews.

Allene married Wilmer her high school sweetheart while he was serving in the US Army during World War II. Following the War the young couple strived to make a life for their growing family and moved to Tampa in the 1950's and in 1972 they relocated to Pasco County. Allene worked at several food services in Dade City, Peaks Family Restaurant, Pasco Regional Hospital, St. Leo University as well as caring for her terminally ill son David until the late 1990's.

A viewing will be held Wednesday at the Hodges Family Funeral Home, US301 and SR98, Dade City, Florida 10:00 to 11:00AM. A Graveside Service will be held at Hodges Family Chapel Hill Gardens 11:30AM Wednesday. A reception will follow at the Dade City Church of God.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org) or to a local Hospice Facility.
