MAKER, Allen Robert, 58, of Dade City, FL, returned to the presence of his heavenly Father on May 29, 2013. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and employed by the City of Zephyrhills as a Horticulture Specialist. Allen is survived by he wife, Mary Katherine Maker; sisters, Edna Maker, of Tampa, FL and Joan Smith, of Howland, ME; niece, Emily Rodriguez; great-niece, Michelle Alvanez; nephew, Robby Brown; step-daughters, Sara Thompson and Nanette Thompson; step-son, Mike Thompson; step-grandsons, Xzavier Thompson, D.J. Strong; and step-granddaughter, Karina Thompson. Allen, We will miss you and the music you shared with all of us. Also, your strong spirit and the way you cared about others. Allen touched many hearts and was an example of our Savior's love. Viewing will be held Friday, May 31, 2013, from 2-3pm, at Hodges Family Funeral Home, Hwy 301, Dade City, FL.
