Alistair James Blackwood 66, of Dade City, FL passed away Friday, November 3, 2017 at his home under the care of Gulfside Regional Hospice. He was born December 14, 1950 in Galashiels, Selkirk, Scotland to William James & Winifred Watts Blackwood. He moved to this area 14 years ago and worked as a Para-Professional at both The Academy at the Farm Charter School and Saint Anthony Church in San Antonio Florida. He was a member of the British Legion and an avid fan of the Manchester United Soccer Team. Alistair is survived by his wife: Renetta Blackwood; 2 children: Justin Blackwood, Kirsty Jamieson, 2 Step children: Jonathon Wong, Leeann Lambeth; 6 grandchildren: Darcy, Sara, Ruby, and Mia Jamieson, Eabha and Harry Blackwood; 6 step grandchildren: Audrey Holbrock, Chloe and McKenzie Wong, Maddy and Stacey Wong, Austin Lambeth; several great grandchildren; 4 sisters: Jennifer Darling, Barbara Blackwood Campbell, Lillian Gray, Linda Johnston; and 1 Brother: Bobby Blackwood.A service Celebrating his Life will be held 6pm Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Beef O'Brady's 14136 7th St, Dade City, FL 33525.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Gulfside Regional Hospice.
