Aline Champagne, 78, passed away on April 28, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on December 13, 1947, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, she was the beloved daughter of the late Simone Gregoire and Wilfred Freniere and stepmother Louisa Freniere.

Aline spent many years living in Ludlow, Massachusetts, before making her home in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, where she enjoyed the sunshine and coastal life she loved. She was a graduate of Chicopee High School and built a life centered around family, love, and generosity.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Gene Paul Freniere and Denise Greci, and is survived by her sister, Joann Lee. Aline shared a loving marriage with her husband, Ronald Champagne, since December 10, 1992.

Aline was a devoted mother to Lisa DaSilva and her husband Teddy DaSilva, stepmother to Lynn Champagne, and Jamie Jacobs and her husband Rick Jacobs. She also opened her heart and home as a foster mother to Anna Fierro and Debbie Silvestri.

She was a proud and loving grandmother to Julia Nicoletti, Jonathan Nicoletti, Tyler Sternowski, Jacob Sternowski, and Ryder Jacobs, and a cherished great-grandmother to Aubree Rodriguez.

Aline’s greatest joy in life was her family. She dedicated many years to caring for her grandchildren, creating memories that will be treasured forever. She loved spending time at the casino, relaxing at the beach, keeping up with her nail appointments, and most of all, being surrounded by those she loved.

Known for her huge heart, radiant smile, and unforgettable laugh, Aline touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Her kindness, warmth, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her.

A service to honor Aline’s life will be held on May 24 at 11:00 AM at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 36327 Pure Water Way, Zephyrhills, Florida.
