Alice York Nicar, 78, of Ridge Manor, passed away May 30, 2017. Born in Miami, Florida, she was a cherished wife and mother, and a community and church leader. Alice inspired many who often sought her welcome advice, and was well-known for her delicious pumpkin pie. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Fred Nicar, her two sons, Jim and Tom, and her granddaughter, Elizabeth Limpf. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 9 at 11 a.m. at the Spring Lake United Methodist Church, 4191 Spring Lake Highway in Brooksville, 34601. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Alice Nicars name may be made to the Spring Lake United Methodist Church.
