Albert Hoke Sr, 74, of Sherburne, NY and Zephyrhills, FL passed on February 16, 2013 in Zephyrhills, FL at the Gulfside Hospice with his family by his side. He was born on January 5, 1939. In 1956 he graduated from Sherburne High School and shortly after he joined the US Marine Corp. He was a truck driver for many years to follow. Some of his member ships included the American Legion of Sherburne and former commander. He was also in the Coast Guard Aux and law enforcement. He was preceded in death by his parents, Flo and Les Dunn; foster parents, Emery and Mable Brown; grandson, Michael Bikowski; sister, Wanda Dunn Robullard. Survivor include his beloved wife of 55 years, Barbara Hoke; brother, Wayne Dunn; sister in law, BonnienDunn; 5 children, Albert Hoke Jr, his girlfriend (Jodi Evanciew- Babcock, Leslie (Eva) Hoke, John (Christine) Ames Hoke, Theresa Hoke and Fiance Tim Chan, Rhonda Harris; 23 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way; several nieces and nephews. In keeping his wishes he will be cremated and a celebration of life will in held in NY at a later date.
