Alan M. Giella, Sr., was born May 15, 1951, and died on September 5, 2018. He was the son of the late Michael and Charlene Giella. Alan is survived by his wife, Cheryl D. Giella, and three sons, Tony (Susan), Donnie (Marina), and Alan, Jr., as well as his stepchildren, Casey Moore (Jason) and Chris Comis (Tamara), five grandchildren, three step grandchildren and one step great grandson. In addition, he leaves behind his sisters, Joy Hampton (Dudley) and Bonnie Corbin (John). A native of Dade City, he graduated from Pasco High School, proudly served in the U. S. Air Force and owned a lawncare business prior to working at Florida National Cemetery from which he retired. He and Cheryl are members the First Baptist Church of Lacoochee. A service Celebrating his Life will be held 2pm Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pasco County 4-H Association, 36702 State Road 52, Dade City, FL 33525. Funds will be used for annual kids fishing camp.
