Aida Modesta Figueroa, 80, of Zephyrhills, Florida. Has passed away on December 1, 2018. Aida was born on June 15, 1938 in Cata o, Puerto Rico. She moved to Pennsylvania in 1959 where she raised her family. Retired and moved to Florida in 1995. For 65 years, she was proud to be the beloved wife of Florentino Figueroa Otero, a US Korean War veteran. She has now joined him and two children in a celestial gathering in heaven.

She is survived by four children: Angel, Teresa, John, and Edward. Ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Aida was an amazing woman, full of love and laughter. She has engraved such lasting memories on our hearts. And will be remembered as always telling hilarious stories about her life, always ready to have a good time, dancing in the kitchen while cooking her delicious Puerto Rican dishes. But most importantly caring for and loving her family.

Celebration of her life will be held at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 11441 US HWY 301, Dade City, Florida, 33525 on December 9, 2018 at 2pm.
